The Rapture to return with new album in September

Appropriately timed, as The Rapture that was supposed to mean the end of the world didn’t occur this weekend, the New York dance band have announced a new album to prove that there is one Rapture that we can rely on. Except it has been five years since they’ve released an album, so maybe they’re not that reliable either.

The band that brought us the smash hit “House of Jealous Lovers” and several others will return with In The Grace Of Your Love, their fourth album, on September 6th (September 5th in the UK). Announcing via their Facebook page, the guys informed us that they “recorded it last year with great producer and great friend Zdar in Brooklyn and Paris.” They also added that we should “Stay tuned for tour dates, tracklisting and a bunch more updates and info.” The album will be released on DFA.

Check out the tracklist below, and watch a live video of the opening track “Sail Away.” Stay tuned for more info, such as the answer to the question we all have: Is “How Deep Is Your Love” going to be a Bee Gees cover?
