Today, Pitchfork has reported that Jack White’s other band, The Dead Weather, have named their forthcoming album, which will henceforth be known as Sea of Cowards. The band has a creepy image up on their website, which seems like it could be album artwork.
Other details surrounding the album are still fuzzy, but rumors point to the album coming out May 7 on White’s label, Third Man. According to P4K writer Ryan Dombal, that’s still unconfirmed.
The album’s first single, “Die by the Drop,” will have an accompanying video directed by Floria Sigismondi, who recently finished directing the upcoming Runaways biopic. She also directed the White Stripes’ “Blue Orchid” video.
