The Antlers announce new EP

Following the great success of the release of their newest album Burst Apart earlier this year, and the subsequent tour, The Antlers have today revealed that they will be putting out another release next month.

The (together) EP (lower case and parentheses intended) will be released via Frenchkiss on November 22nd. The EP consists of b-sides, remixes and outtakes, as well as a cover of The xx’s “VCR.” The song “Tongue Tied” sees Darby Cicci take lead vocals for the first time. Speaking about the reasoning behind releasing this EP they say that (together) EP is “presenting the band as more of a collective than a singular group. Upwards of ten artists came together to make the EP possible—a sharp increase from the band’s previous 1-5 member makeup—with the different collaborations changing the way the Antlers operate as a band.”

Check out the tracklist for the EP below and their cover of The xx’s “VCR” live in session at KCRW.
