If you are not familiar with Teengirl Fantasy, a quick primer would include the following information: they are a duo of who create vivid soundscapes combining pop, r&b, electronic, and soul music through a thick lens of nostalgia and dreaminess, the released their debut LP, 7AM, on True Panther last year, and they have the best band website in the history of band websites. With that in tow, we will all have a better chance to get acquainted as the group records their second album this summer.
In a message on their Facebook, Teengirl Fantasy expressed their possible excitement for ATP, where they will play the Animal Collective curated affair in the UK, and hinted at a tour announcement very soon. But, the real news came at the conclusion of the message, where the group revealed “this summer we are also recording our second LP… no title yet……” Stay tuned for more information as it is unveiled, and check out these guys if you haven’t yet.
