Team B announce new 7″; Working on sophomore album

Indie darlings Team B have had quite a busy year. Between the release of their Theodore Roethke-inspired Lost Son EP early this year to each member’s respective work outside of Team B. Richard Reed Perry has been busy with the new Arcade Fire album, Perrin Cloutin contributed to Beirut’s live shows this year, along with Team B’s founding member Kelly Pratt who has been working on the new Team B material along with both the Arcade Fire and Beirut on top of that.

But Team B have a new limited edition 7″ out now on Hi-Scores Recordings. It features “My Papa’s Waltz” on the B-Side and the amazing “Genesis/Reply to Censure” on the A-Side. Limited to 500 copies printed on white and blue marble vinyl, I highly suggest grabbing this sooner than later since the digital versions have been removed from circulation. The group is also hard at work on it’s sophomore album. As Pratt says, “This album should be quite a bit different from the first one so get ready…” Look for their second full length in early 2011. Also, check out a new track they performed for Backyard Sessions entitled “Milwaukee” below.
