Bruce Springsteen is set to release his next album, the follow-up to 2007’s Magic, in January 2009 according to well-known Springsteen fan-site Backstreets.com. There has been no word on the title of the album or of which songs will be included but Brendan O’Brien, the producer of Magic, said after the recording of that album that Springsteen already had enough songs for his next albums but he mentioned no titles. One possible inclusion on the new album is the song “Workin’ On A Dream” which was premiered at an Obama rally in Cleveland on November 2 and has been recorded for the album according to Backstreets.
Springsteen recently released a free Halloween song and ended his year-long world tour in support of Magic on the 30th of August and has since been actively supporting Obama’s presidential campaign and appearing at several of his rallies.
