Renowned dance choreographer Merce Cunningham organized the Split Sides project featuring dances to original pieces of music by Radiohead and Sigur Rós back in 2003.
Each band composed a completely new piece of music for the event, lasting around 20 minutes long each. Sigur Rós released their piece on the Ba Ba Ti Ki Di Do EP but Radiohead’s has never been previously released, although bootleg recordings have surfaced on the internet.
Sigur Rós announced via their website earlier today that the DVD will be released on 30th June with both bands performances and the accompanying dances. It can be found on Amazon and Microcinema.
