South London rapper Oogie gets messy with a Latin twist on “DRILLERS”

Oogie recently announced his debut project, somehow it makes sense, which drops next Friday, but before that he has a couple of surprises in store. Today the London rapper shares the new single “DRILLERS”, showing a different side to his flow.

“DRILLERS” comes out boisterously, with characterful voices and horns, before a purring Latin-style beat lays the path for the rapper. Oogie takes command quickly, his voice possessing a similarly dextrous loquaciousness as 21 Savage, and he implements it perfectly on this explicit and outrageous track. Remaining calm while all around is active, Oogie sounds completely in his element on “DRILLERS” where his sheer laid back yet on-point presence shines.

You can listen to “DRILLERS” on streaming platforms or below.

Oogie’s somehow it makes sense arrives next Friday, April 30, via Trapdoor Records. You can find him on Twitter and Instagram.
