Entirely fitting the name of the song, “Blue Ice,” Swedish band Shout Out Louds released an extremely limited version of their last single where the record was made out of ice (seriously). The box (only ten made and given to a selected few) itself was a pristine thing, but the resulting ice record (which owners have to make and freeze themselves) was a tad scratchy. What do you expect I suppose. Watch a video for the ice box below, and listen to the track being played.
In slightly more significant news, however, the track and all it’s cool publicity (sorry), was part of a new album the band will be releasing via Merge next year. Optica will be released on the 26th February, and you can check out the tracklisting below along with some tour dates.
