That Ryan Adams vinyl boxset we were curious about earlier, well we finally know what it is. Life After Deaf (poking fun at Adam’s hearing loss from Ménière’s disease) is a boxset of 15 vinyl discs containing 144 live acoustic tracks. Additionally there will be 74 digital-only bonus tracks for a grand total of 218. The collection will be housed in a heavyweight cloth box.
Well, what’s the damage?. We don’t know yet, but there will only be a limited number sold meaning you should expect to drop several hundred dollars on this beast of a collection.
Life After Deaf will be available exclusively through Adam’s PAX-AM starting at 1:30 eastern time, tomorrow, Friday, June 15th.
UPDATE: The box will cost $130 + shipping and weighs 13 pounds.
