The release of Red Hot Chili Peppers’ 10th studio album, and their first in five years, is something to celebrate. And, in order to do so, the band are bringing fans all around the world together to view the new album, I’m With You, performed live in high definition at their local movie theater.
The foursome are recording a song by song performance of I’m With You, followed by an encore of their greatest hits. The film will be broadcast on August 30th, the day of release, at 8pm in each time zone. Or, for those who can’t make it that day, it will also be on on September 1st. Movie theaters worldwide are participating, including 450 in the United States. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, and you can see if your theater is participating by heading here.
