We all know that Raekwon is following up 2009’s critically acclaimed Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… Pt. 2 in March with Shaolin Vs. Wu-Tang. But what will follow?
A source close to Raekwon has told VIBE that Raekwon has plans for a second album in 2011. This second album is said to be more “DJ-oriented” and contain “harmony-based” records. While maintaining the traditional Wu-Tang sound, producers such as Just Blaze and Kanye West are set have their production featured on the album. This as-yet-untitled project is set for release in October.
I sort of wanted a Cuban Linx… Pt. 3 but you can’t knock Raekwon for trying to innovate a little.
