R.E.M., one of the longest running bands in modern alternative rock are soon to return with a new album, the follow up to 2008’s Accelerate. News surfacing today suggests that the band have named their fifteenth album Collapse Into Now and hope to release it next spring.
Reports on the recording of the new album seem to be positive. The band have been working once again with Jacknife Lee in Portland, New Orleans and Berlin.
