In 1965, the Beatles made history by being the first band ever to play at Shea Stadium. This year, the New York Mets are abandoning Shea to play in the brand-new Citi Field, and Paul McCartney will make history once again. McCartney will play two concerts at Citi on July 17th and 18th, according to Rolling Stone. Tickets for the shows at Citi, which boasts a 42,000-person capacity, will go on sale June 15th at 10 a.m. exclusively through the Mets’ ticketing service, 507tixx.com.
