It’s no secret that we’re anticipating the release of Okkervil River’s new album, I Am Very Far, and we know we’re not the only ones. NPR, at the very least, are also eager to hear the band’s new album, so they’ve set up a stream from KUT’s Cactus Cafe in the band’s home of Austin, Texas and tonight will be broadcasting Okkervil River’s performance all over the world to whoever wants to watch. Okkervil River plan to play I Am Very Far in its entirety, so we can hear it in raw live form before we hear the studio version when it’s released on May 10th. Hopefully they’ll sneak a few fan favourites too.
