South-East Asian alt-R&B producer ((( O ))) aka The Sundrop Garden has revealed that she’ll be releasing a new album called ((( 2 ))) next week via her own label. She says:
“((( 2 ))) was always intended to be an album about duality, physical movement, sustainability, observation of self & the world around us and natural innovation with the gifts nature gives us.”
The first song shared from the new album – or ‘Sundrop’ as she likes to called them – is “iFeel”, which features regular collaborator FKJ. The new track expands and contracts like gentle breath through leaves, with chimes reverberating gently out in radiant kaleidoscopes of sound. Vocally, “iFeel” is light on actual words, and instead ((( O ))) simply seems to be vibing with the song, purring with the warmth of her production.
