Whether it is The Black Keys, The Dodos, She & Him, or whoever, it is not something strange to see a two-piece band expand their roster in the live setting. Still, there is something special about watching two people create together on stage, something the band No Age will be revisiting on upcoming tour dates.
If you watched the Pitchfork Music Festival over the weekend, you may have noticed that Facundo Bermudez was not with No Age as they ripped through their afternoon set. After contacting their publicist, it appears that No Age are indeed going to be playing as a two-piece for the immediate future, though they reserve the right to return to a three member lineup at any time.
Los Angeles residents will get a chance to see the return of the two-piece (Dean and Randy) No Age this Thursday as they play a free show in MacArthur Park. One Thirty BPM will be on hand to bring a full review.
