L.A.’s Nite Jewel have been around for a while now, releasing efforts on Italians Do It Better, Mexican Summer and Gloriette Records, and showing up on bills consistently (including one we saw with of Montreal). But, their sophomore full-length will by far be their most high profile release yet, as they have just announced a signing with Secretly Canadian for the album, due in early 2012.
In advance of this release, Nite Jewel are presenting a single called “She’s Always Watching You,” which will be put out by Love Letters Ink in the form of a 7″ on December 6th. Each copy will include a handwritten letter from Nite Jewel’s Ramona Gonzalez, secret links to watch exclusive “making of” videos, and a $1.00 donation to the Lauren Abramson Memorial Fund to Benefit Citizen Schools of California.
