Ezra Koenig, lead singer and guitarist of Vampire Weekend tells Spin Magazine that his band is ready to work on their second album.
We’ve got a lot of stuff written but nothing recorded yet,” frontman Ezra Koenig told SPIN.com at Friday’s New York magazine 40th anniversary bash. According to Koenig, the new material features “a lot more instruments. (The new material) might not sound different (to fans), but to me it does.”
Recording will begin when their tour ends in November. Hopefully it will be out before the summer.
Tour dates after the jump.
