I was first introduced to Sondre Lerche through the movie Dan In Real Life, which is an average rom-com starring Steve Carrell, but it does have one great thing going for it: the soundtrack, which is written and performed by the Norweigian Born singer songwriter and is the one thing that remains memorable about the movie after the credits have rolled.
The soundtrack to Dan In Real Life is just one in quite a long list of albums that Lerche has released, and on June 7th he will be adding one more to that list in the form of a self-titled album, which brings his total to seven. For this new album he drafted in Midlake’s drummer McKenzie Smith. Check out the seventh track from the album, entitled “Domino,” below.
