Avant-garde R&B electonic musician How To Dress Well had promised new music for 2011, to follow his debut LP from last year, but we didn’t expect him to just spring it on us this soon. The Just Once EP is hopefully not the only thing we’ll heard from How To Dress Well since three of its four tracks are “orchestral versions” of songs from Love Remains, (“Suicide Dream 1,” “Suicide Dream 2” and “Decisions”) but those baying for new material are rewarded with “Suicide Dream 3″ (which also appears in orchestral form).
You can stream the whole EP below, but there is plenty of incentive to actually buy it: $1 from each purchase will go to Mind Freedom, the mental health charity, and those who buy those of you physical media purchasers – the album is available on 10” vinyl – will get a handwritten letter from Mr. HTDW himself, Tom Krell.
Have a listen to Just Once below, and if you wish to make a purchase then head over to Yours Truly’s bandcamp page.
