This oddity cropped up before the weekend, but for those of you like us who missed it, it’s just too awesome not to post. An organisation going by the name ‘BroPortal’ have made a Neutral Milk Hotel themed computer game called In The Time Machine Over The Sea.
The game is about one man’s quest (Jeff Mangum’s) to go back in time and rescue Anne Frank. It features characters from the classic album such as the Two-Headed Boy and the King of Carrot Flowers. The game is built around a similar-looking platform to Pokémon and comes complete with eight-bit renditions of songs from In The Aeroplane Over The Sea.
