Peter Bjorn & John’s March 29th record, Gimme Some is an early candidate for my favorite album of the young year. “Lies,” “I Know You Don’t Love Me,” “Dig A Little Deeper,” and “Tomorrow Has To Wait” are all grade-A material, showing signs of life of which I didn’t even know this band was capable. “Breaker Breaker” is another strong cut from the album and a good preparation piece for the direction the Swedish trio have taken.
