Toronto’s Diamond Rings is about to re-release his acclaimed full-length album, Special Affections, on Astralwerks next week. But, as that album is nearly a year old, it is not surprising that Diamond Rings is remaining busy on other work as the album continues to reach more and more people.
One of these projects is a six-part remix series called Remix Rainbow, which has already featured a killer redux of Austra’s “Lose It.” Part five of this series features a spirited and, ultimately, moving take on Handsome Furs new track “What About Us.” Check out the cut below and stay tuned to see what Diamond Rings has in store for part six.
