It’s been a few years since Floating Action released the criminally underrated debut album Floating Action, but Seth Kaufman, the one man band, is back with Desert Etiquette. Due out later this month on Park the Van, Desert Etiquette was also produced in part by fellow label-mate Scott McMicken of Dr. Dog. “Eye of a Needle” showcases Kaufman’s ability to craft simple pop tracks that are not only catchy but timeless as well. I could go on for days about how great Floating Action is, and I hope Desert Etiquette will garner Kaufman the attention he deserves.
