When Eminem and Royce Da 5’9″ announced their collaborative EP Bad Meets Evil last week I was excited to hear the first material from these two luminaries since 1999, when Royce featured on The Slim Shady LP. The product meets the hype, so far. “Fast Lane” is a hard hitting track, blasting bass over top of one of Eminem’s best verses in years. Both MCs are atop their game, making “Fast Lane” not only a fun reunion, but a total banger as well. Bad Meets Evil drops June 14th. Eminem was recently announced as one of the headliners for this year’s Lollapalooza.
