MP3Brother Ali – “Don’t Look At Me, Look Around”
Brother Ali is a blind, albino, Muslim… and also possibly one of the best rappers around. Based out of Minneapolis, and not suprisingly discovered by Twin-City hero Ant from hip-hop duo Atmosphere, Ali has been making waves rapping about race, politics, faith, and his ex-wife for the past half decade. He’s signed on to be part of the upcoming “Takin’ It To The Streets,” a (predominantely) Muslim music festival in Chicago next week. He just released this new track, “Don’t Look At Me, Look Around,” featuring Medium Zach, to promote his performance. Other names on tap for the festival are Mos Def, Tinariwen, Malika Zarra, and The Reminders.
