California DIY-er Travis von Sydow, aka Ancient Crux, has a new EP out this summer on Bridgetown Records. Entitled Stage Fright, the new album will also come bundled with a live recording from one of his shows in Los Angeles. “My Pillars of Shame” is a twisting and sprawling track that features a mesmerizing bass line scaling from start to finish. The new track showcases how Ancient Crux has grown from a single bedroom recording into a project that has a fully realized scope and sound.

Bridgetown has also released a summer sampler mixtape to satisfy all your psych rock and lo-fi needs. The mix features some more Ancient Crux material along with two tracks from fellow buzz band Weed Diamond.
