The name of the new album will be Crack the Skye, and the tracklist consists of 7 songs – one song being an epic broken into IV pieces. No release date has been set, although the band said to expect an “early 2009 release”.
Bruce Springsteen’s long time producer Brendan O’Brien will produce the album. Should make for an interesting mix. Just as long as they stay away from Jacknife Lee, they should be fine. Via Pitchfork
