As an unrequired apology for not having delivered his new album, Future Proof, Mesita (aka James Cooley) has offered his fans and listeners an acoustic take of one of his tracks. “Living/Breathing” is stripped down of all it’s endlessly magical fanfare, having it resemble the original version her released years back (which reached number 29 in our favourite tracks from 2010), not long before it became the title track to his brilliant EP. Long-time fans might also recall that this isn’t the first time Cooley has stripped the song down, as back in 2009 he performed a take of the song on UNC Student Radio.
