Trust have their debut full-length album coming out on February 28th via Arts & Craft, titled TRST, which is basically the group’s name if you take out the letter “U.” This technique of manipulating words doesn’t work for everything. For example, if you took all the U’s out of my name, it would still be Philip Cosores. Luckily, Trust has a U in it, or else people wouldn’t be able to tell that they were putting a clever spin on their name with their album title.
Jokes aside, “Sulk,” their first single from this U-less release, is an immediate and danceable tune in the dark wave vein of synth-pop. Have yourself a listen below and look for Trust’s album next month.
