With each new song that I hear from Londoners The History of Apple Pie it becomes clearer to me that they are what headline writers might call ‘The UK’s answer to The Pains of Being Pure At Heart.’ Apple Pie’s new single “Mallory” sees them continuing down the route of fuzzed up pop with impossibly catchy innocent female vocals that are delightfully infecting when we get to the final “ooh ooh”s.
