New Jersey rock act The Gaslight Anthem are set to release their fourth studio album this summer, on July 24 via Mercury Records. The album will be called Handwritten and it’s the follow-up to 2010’s American Slang, and the first single from the album, “45”, premiered yesterday.
The full-length is produced by Brendan O’Brien, who has previously produced The Gaslight Anthem’s main influence Bruce Springsteen as well as Pearl Jam and Stone Temple Pilots. Judging by “45” O’Brien’s prudction suits The Gaslight Anthem far better than it did Springsteen and the song itself should please every fan of the band. Listen to it below.
