It’s been 10 years since we last heard from The Baptist Generals—through an official LP at least. The Denton, TX-based group released their last record, the lo-fi masterpiece No Silver/No Gold back in 2003, and apart from some intermittent touring, the band has been quiet ever since. Thankfully, that’s all about to change, as the band has recently announced the release date for the follow-up to No Silver/No Gold called Jackleg Devotional To The Heart, and it’s due out on May 21st via Sub Pop.
