Natasha Khan has been popping up every now and again since she finished touring her last Bat For Lashes album Two Suns, but mostly to deliver covers. We haven’t heard much about a new Bat For Lashes album, which, though you may not realise yet, you really want to hear. (Well, I do, and hopefully people feel the same way).
Therefore there’s good news coming out of Sydney as last week Bat For Lashes took to the stage with a string quartet and performed a set chock-full of old favourites, a few covers and, excitingle, a new song, which she didn’t tell us the name of. The song is quite Björk-y, which is only a good thing since we know Khan has the voice and the style to carry off something like that.
