Neon Indian’s second album Era Extraña is tantalisingly close to release now. In fact you can start a 10-day count down from today. It’s around this time that songs start to find their way onto various areas of the internet, and as Stereogum points out, “Hex Girlfriend” has wound up on YouTube. The album highlight has a definite 80s movie soundtrack quality, but with just enough weird electronics going on for it to remain firmly in the modern era. Take a listen below.
