It has been a while since we have heard from M.I.A., causing some to wonder if there remains an audience for her after the artist received some heavy backlash around her last album, /\/\ /\ Y /\. Now, we have a new single from titled “Bad Girls” that sees M.I.A. again in fine form, and the single will be sold around the globe starting tomorrow. We can also expect a video for the Danja-produced track by the end of the week.
Pitchfork also notes that a new full-length M.I.A. album is expected out this summer, and that M.I.A. is rumored to be joining Madonna on the Super Bowl halftime show. Check out “Bad Girls” here.
