Stones Throw rapper M.E.D. has been known to get in an interesting variety of guests on his tracks from Aloe Blacc to Hodgy Beats who appears here on “Outta Control.” Madlib doesn’t drop a verse, but the talented producer’s presence is so detectable in the best way possible, like everything who puts out, that he should certainly be credited. Hodgy Beats puts in a typically raw performance and M.E.D. matches up; if this is an example of what’s to come on his upcoming album Classic then it’s something to look forward to.
