With their promotion of Zonoscope – and themselves – Cut Copy have gone head first into the collaborations. They have had their tracks remixed by the likes of Toro Y Moi and Architecture in Helsinki, and having remixed the likes of Death Cab For Cutie and Miracles Club; so now they’ve gone a step further and roped in a friend to cover one of their songs. Lotus Plaza, aka Lockett Pundt of Deerhunter, does a fine job of turning the loping, bouncy “Where I’m Going” into a quiet acoustic number before morphing it into a long, twinkly instrumental outro. A nice listen for your morning/early afternoon. Listen below.
