Growing up next to soul legend James Brown in Williston, South Carolina, KaiL Baxley was constantly surrounded by music. After receiving a guitar from his godfather as a graduation gift, Baxley toured Europe, Africa, and the US spinning blues and gospel-inflected tales that churn with an indie rock sense of production. Gearing up for the double EP release of Heatstroke/The Wind and the War via Forty Below Records, Baxley has just released a new track from this collection. “Say Goodbye To The Night” feels calmer and warmer than other tracks from his upcoming release and is a perfect soulful snack for a cold winter evening. Enjoy “Say Goodbye To The Night” below.
