Portland’s Liz Harris–better known as Grouper–hasn’t released a proper LP since 2008’s excellent Dragging A Dead Deer Up a Hill. On April 11th, however, her silence will be broken with not one but two full-lengths. A I A will comprise Dream Loss and Alien Observer, and you can hear the latter album’s title track right here. It’s a bit more synth-driven than we’ve heard from Grouper in the past, but it’s just as haunted and vocally wounded as her best work.
