Swedish folk pop duo First Aid Kit announced their second album, the Mike Mogis-produced The Lion’s Roar, in mid-September and yesterday they released the album’s title track as the first single from the album. “The Lion’s Roar” was premiered yesterday on PSL in Sweden, The Guardian in the UK and NPR in the US, and it certainly shows promise for the upcoming full-length after having been a live favourite for quite some time now. The Lion’s Roar will be released via Wichita Recordings on January 24, 2012.
