Listen: Dream Boat – “Sea to Sky”

Athens, GA-based Elephant 6 associates Dream Boat are set to release their debut album on December 4th via The Olivia Tremor Control imprint Cloud Recordings. Their mixture of droning pop and hazy vocals recall the music of fellow E6 psych-rockers Circulatory System, as well as the ornate instrumentation of Dark Meat. Having been a part of the Athens underground music scene for years, they’ve made the acquaintance of many like-minded bands and artists. Members of bands such as Neutral Milk Hotel, Elf Power, and The Olivia Tremor Control all help to fill out the studio band which instill their music with a sustained intensity which places Dream Boat at the forefront of the renewed E6 canon.
