The live entity that is Destroyer looks to be going harder for Kaputt than they have for any previous release. They are touring the states right now and look to be on the road through the summer, which is smart because not only is Kaputt one of Dan Bejar’s best albums, but it has captured the public eye like never before and could see the band reach new commercial heights.
The band recently dropped by Seattle’s 90.3 to perform a couple songs from that record and a couple deep cuts from older material. Yes, “Painter In My Pocket” is one of them and yes, that might be the best song Dan Bejar will ever write. Stream the whole thing here.
