Clogs are a low-key kind of supergroup, making ethereal, near hymnal kinds of songs. The core members are Padma Newsome, Rachel Elliott, Thomas Kozumplik, and the National’s Bryce Dessner and together they make some wonderful music, as evidenced by 2010’s The Creatures in the Garden of Lady Walton, where they got some help from Matt Berninger and Sufjan Stevens. They’ll make their return this year with a new three-song EP entitled The Sundown Song, which will be released 5th February via Brassland. Listen to the title track below.
