Recently Bright Eyes headed into NPR to appear on their World Cafe. The half hour show features an interesting interview with Conor about his writing of albums past and present. The interview is also interjected with stripped down versions of new songs (and one oldie for the fans). The interviewer only mentions the core trio of the band – Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis and Nate Walcott – but I’m sure I can hear the beautiful tones of Laura Burhenn singing backing vocals in there too.
