80’s country tunes have found a surprising resurgence in the indie covers world this year, with notable artists like Bon Iver and My Morning Jacket performing songs from this era live. But, Bill Callahan has never been one to follow the latest trends or fads. Thus, Callahan has gone farther back into the country canon to a tune originally written by Lee Clayton, but best known as a Waylon Jennings song.
