Last year’s Surf Noir EP was one of those glowing chillwave-esque pop records that had an undeniable hook to it, and with a proper full length in the works and a brand new lineup, Seattle’s Beat Connection appear primed for a huge 2012. What was once a duo is now a full four piece band, and on “Think/Feel” there’s now denying that the new coat of paint is exactly what these guys needed. Chelsey Scheffle lends her vocals to “Think/Feel,” giving the track a rich and sexy tone that has me absolutely pining for the debut album. I’ve managed to catch the band a few times here in the northwest and I can say for sure this is just the first of many exciting new tracks, so check back for more info soon.
