It’s amazing that Vivian Girls can be such a productive band and seemingly all the members can bring out tons of other albums at the same time. Just this week we got a new EP from The Babies, and now Kickball Katy Goodman has revealed the details of the second album from La Sera, to follow up the debut which was only released last year.
This one was announced a few days ago, but since we’re enjoying the new song so much and music news is still taking time to warm up in 2012, we thought we’d tell you about it anyway in case you missed it. Recorded with Rob Barbato (known for his work with The Fall and Darker My Love) in Southern California, Sees The Light will be released on March 26th through Hardly Art. Judging from the MP3 we have for you below, “Please Be My Third Eye,” La Sera’s sound has become a little more complex without being completely overhauled or losing any of its charm.
