Usually when an artist announces that they’re releasing an album of reworked old material it’s not something to get particularly excited about, but in the case of Kate Bush it’s a different story. Next month Bush will release Director’s Cut; a collection of reworked songs from her two studio albums that came out before 2005’s Aerial – The Sensual World (1989) and The Red Shoes (1993).
If you’re not sure what to expect then check out this radio rip of the first single “Deeper Understanding,” which originally appeared in a much shorter form on The Sensual World.
